Arch Development
Arch Development is the development identity behind Arch, Bridge and Console.
Our starting point is the person using the product: what they want to achieve, what makes it difficult and how much attention the process demands of them.
Arch brings research, planning, creation and action into one application. Its purpose is to let someone delegate a task and see it progress without repeatedly explaining the background or directing every stage.
Bridge applies that thinking to organisations, bringing together prepared tasks, clear responsibilities and coordinated handovers. Console applies it to policing and investigation, helping people examine evidence, competing explanations and unanswered questions.
The products share technical foundations where useful, while their interfaces, permissions and safeguards are designed around their particular purpose.

Simon Macbeth is the inventor guiding the ideas and direction behind Arch Development.
His approach begins with understanding the problem: what someone is trying to achieve, which assumptions need questioning and how the different parts affect one another.
That approach shapes Arch, Bridge and Console—from the way each system reasons and checks its conclusions to the experience of the person using it. The aim is to make complex processes easier to direct, understand and carry through.
