Not scored

Confidence is limited. Independent product validation and verified customer outcomes are absent. This is not an independent accreditation, customer rating or assurance that a product is ready for use.

VIEW THE CALCULATION AND ITS LIMITS

(65 + 45) ÷ 2 = 55/100. Both dimensions have a maximum of 100 points. Fit is assessed separately and does not enter the average.

The assessment covers the public information and evidenced development process as at 20 October 2026. It does not rate the operational readiness of a finished Arch, Bridge or Console product.

01 / THE ORGANISATION

Company and people

Arch Development is the product-development identity of Finite Arch Limited. It is not a separate incorporated company. Finite Arch Limited is registered in England and Wales, company number 17204312, with its registered office at 343 Roundhay Road, Leeds, LS8 4BU, United Kingdom.

The Companies House record corroborates the company name, number, legal form and address. Incorporation does not establish product quality or competence; Companies House does not verify every fact filed with it.

Simon Macbeth is the inventor guiding the ideas and direction behind Arch Development. We begin with what someone wants to achieve, the steps involved and the decisions that need their attention. Our purpose is to make those processes easier to direct, understand and carry through.

Arch Method is a separate services identity of the same company. Its services, examples and score do not establish the capabilities of Arch, Bridge or Console. See About Arch Development, Arch Method and Finite Arch.

02 / THREE PRODUCTS

What we are developing

Arch

Research, planning, creation and practical action in one application. The intended experience lets someone set an outcome and have the agreed steps carried forward, returning to them when a decision, information or permission is needed.

Restricted private development and testing. Some functionality exists in the authorised test environment; the full intended experience is still being built. Public registration, general availability and app downloads are not currently offered.

Explore Arch

Bridge

Prepared tasks, clear responsibilities and coordinated handovers for organisations and teams. Its purpose is to reduce repeated preparation and make the next action easier to understand.

Product design. Bridge is not a generally available system. No released application or working account login is offered.

Explore Bridge

Console

Accounts, evidence, timelines and lines of enquiry brought into a reviewable case. Its intended role is to help investigators compare explanations and identify gaps, with original sources traceable and judgements kept with people.

Requirements and experience design. It is not available for operational use or live investigations. No police deployment, judicial acceptance or operational approval is claimed.

Contacting us does not create an account or grant private access. Wider access, product terms and suitability for sensitive information require separate review before launch.

03 / THE METHOD

What the number measures

Arch Trust Score is an experimental evidence framework. It records how much of a published checklist is supported in a defined assessment. It does not measure the chance that a company will behave honestly, and it cannot replace due diligence or a decision about suitability.

The inherited v0.2 framework allocated 100 points to trust evidence and 100 to competence evidence, with an equal-weight average. Its partial points were assessor judgements without a complete item-level rule. Version 0.3 retains those category weights and makes the awarding rule explicit.

  1. Define the scope and date. Here, the scope is Arch Development’s published information and evidenced development process, not three finished products.
  2. Check four stated conditions per criterion. A condition counts only when its stated evidence requirement is met. Record the source and reason; do not award half-checks or infer missing evidence.
  3. Calculate each criterion. Maximum points × number of checks met ÷ 4. For example, user protections has 2 of 4 checks met: 15 × 2 ÷ 4 = 7.5.
  4. Add each dimension, then average. Keep unrounded values until the final display. Trust and competence remain visible alongside the combined score.

Unknown information earns zero evidence points. That is not evidence of misconduct, poor performance or an adverse customer experience. A failed evidence check is not necessarily a failed product test. A category that is not relevant to a different business still cannot be silently removed: define a new scope and method before comparing results.

Evidence classes: V means a fact corroborated against an external primary source; D means documented first-party material; S means a self-declaration without supporting evidence; U means unknown, conflicting or untested. A primary corporate record can verify identity without independently validating a product. Company-authored checks remain first-party evidence.

Limits: the weights and checklist are design choices, not scientifically calibrated predictors. Evidence authenticity, assessor consistency, domain suitability and the method itself require independent validation. Do not compare the number with another organisation assessed under a different version or scope. Do not use it to decide a person’s eligibility or rights.

Company-maintained checks support bounded behaviour only. They are not independent audits or proof of operational reliability.
C3 · Knowledge and experience151/43.75AD-002, AD-006
Simon Macbeth is the named inventor directing development. Credentials and independent domain validation are not claimed.
C4 · Repeatable methods153/411.25AD-004

Total100—45Competence evidence
Trust 65 + competence 45 = 110110 ÷ 2 = 55 / 100

Fit is not scored. It needs a defined purpose, user, budget, data sensitivity, accessibility requirements and acceptance criteria. A higher evidence score does not establish that a product meets your needs.
